Another GREAT example of the Chelsea Company's long history in the production of maritime clocks. This is the Ship's Bell ADMIRAL model ... first manufactured in 1915. The serial number on this particular clock is "100239" which places it as one of first produced. The serial numbers with their corresponding date of production: #'s 097529-136237 during the period 1915-1919 Therefore, this particular clock was manufactured in 1915 the very first year the ADMIRAL model was made. Especially special about the Admiral is the dial, numbers and hands. Also, the clock's case is complete Bronze. It was sold by Shreve Treat & Eacret of San FRANCISCO ... which is equivalent to Tiffany's of New York. This Chelsea Admiral is in wonderful condition and has been completely serviced.
